Grade Level Elementary (K-5)

This is an introduction to place values.  It makes extensive use of graphics and pictures to illustrate the concepts.  The concepts include values up to ten thousands (whole numbers), and as low as one thousandths (decimals).

This interactive introduction is useful for homeschooled students.  It's also helpful for students who missed the lesson on place values in school, or didn't understand it when first presented.  It provides questions at the end to check for understanding, but it doesn't provide extended practice.
