MG-6 is a series of interactive introductory math lessons developed by the Ministry of Education in Alberta, Canada.  The skills taught are usually learned by students in upper elementary and middle school in the U.S.  This interactive "textbook" has 21 lessons, strategies, and a glossary of terms.  The lessons introduce students to decimals, improper fractions, mixed numbers, integers, factors, multiples, extending patterns, rounding numbers, geometry volume and area, angles, probability, data and charts, and word problems.  Each lesson contains a few questions for students to answer to check their understanding.  The accompanying spy theme music and graphics help to keep student interest.

There are also strategies to help students with basic math operations in addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and problem solving.  Each lesson has a link to tips for parents on the lesson's objectives, how it relates to what they learned in earlier grades, the common types of mistakes and problems students have while learning the skill, and ideas for more practice.
