LearningReviews.com is designed to make it easier for K-12 students, teachers and parents to find worthwhile educational content appropriate to their grade levels. In addition to providing a directory of educational websites, LearningReviews.com provides a forum for reviews and ratings from you. Is the content of the educational website worthwhile? Is it easy to navigate? How did you use it in the classroom or at home? Your reviews will help all of us to sort the jewels from the clunkers. You can help us to learn how to use them effectively. Heidi Reina, the designer of LearningReviews.com, is a parent, teacher and student -- al ways a student! She has more than 20 years of experience as a computer guru and fifteen years experience as a tutor and elementary school teacher. She is also the parent of a lively and precocious elementary MIDDLE school daughter.
Following a cross-country move from Virginia to California, Heidi decided she wanted to have a bigger impact on student learning. She was frustrated by the disjointed way Internet-based educational content was disseminated and evaluated across the many schools where she taught. LearningReviews.com is a result of her vision to make sense of the wealth of educational content available on the Internet.
